The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology is one of the oldest North American/Continental Pathology Associations. The primary focus of the USCAP has always been to provide its members and other pathologists with high quality continuing medical education (CME), including new information both at the investigative and applied practice level; to reinforce and update members knowledge of pathology in their area of interest and expertise; and, to provide various forums in which members can engage in discussion and critical evaluation of advances in the understanding of pathologic processes. This mission is accomplished by a broad CME program which includes four meetings each year, publication of two journals, and posting educational materials on this website. The meetings are planned to meet the needs of pathologists of various levels of experience from residents and fellows to well-established, expert investigators and practitioners. Attendance at the Annual Meeting in the spring has averaged over 3,000 for the past four years. For more information on USCAP, see our About Us section.
